Organising a stay for a group is a balancing act. Enough rooms, not too far apart, a common space to gather, and a kitchen capable of feeding everyone. Here's how we do it.
Why private hire beats multiple hotel rooms
When you're 8, 10 or 12 people, spread across anonymous hotel rooms in a city, the group dissolves. Everyone in their own room, dinner in a noisy restaurant, and the next morning you meet in the lobby.
Private hire of a site like L'Arbre émaillé is the opposite. Everyone in the same place, rooms and cottages within courtyard reach, the great room for meals, the bar-garage for evenings. The group stays a group.
L'Arbre émaillé's exact capacity
In full private hire: 4 B&B rooms (2 people each) + La P'tite Maison (4 people) + La Quincaillerie (4 people) = 16 people maximum in optimal configuration.
In practice, we recommend 12 to 15 people for optimal comfort. Beyond that, the common areas (great room, bathroom) can become limiting at peak times.
